PROP 1: Equal Rights Amendment

This amendment protects against discrimination based on race, color, creed, religion, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, and reproductive healthcare, and allows laws addressing past discrimination.

 

 

PROP 2: Water Quality Restoration

This act seeks to enhance water quality by tackling nitrogen pollution in Suffolk County. It will modernize wastewater infrastructure, including sewer expansions and septic replacements, and establish a fund for water quality projects, potentially attracting more state and federal funding.
